1. Introduction

2. Our Services

Axis Construction Trades Ltd is a temporary employment agency specialising in the supply of construction workers including, but not limited to, labourers, bricklayers, groundworkers, and other tradespeople to construction companies and contractors ("Clients").

We act as an employment business within the meaning of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.

3. Worker Terms

3.1 Registration

To be considered for temporary assignments, you must complete our registration process, which includes providing accurate personal information, proof of right to work in the UK, a valid CSCS card, references, and any other documentation we may reasonably require.

3.2 Assignments

We will endeavour to find suitable temporary assignments for registered workers but do not guarantee that work will be available. Acceptance of any assignment is at your discretion.

3.3 Conduct

While on assignment, you are expected to comply with the health and safety policies, site rules, and reasonable instructions of the Client. You must attend on time, wear appropriate PPE, and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.

3.4 Payment

You will be paid for hours worked at the agreed rate. Payment will be made in accordance with our standard payroll schedule. We are responsible for deducting PAYE tax and National Insurance contributions where applicable.

4. Client Terms

4.1 Supply of Workers

We will use reasonable endeavours to supply workers who meet the requirements specified by the Client. However, we do not guarantee that workers will be available for every request or that they will meet all specified criteria.

4.2 Fees

Our fees for the supply of temporary workers will be agreed in writing with the Client prior to commencement of any assignment. Fees are based on hours worked and are payable in accordance with our standard payment terms.

4.3 Supervision

While workers are supplied by us, day-to-day supervision, direction, and control of the worker remains the responsibility of the Client. The Client is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all applicable regulations.

4.4 Transfer Fees

If a Client wishes to engage a worker supplied by us on a permanent or direct basis, a transfer fee may be applicable. The terms and amount of any transfer fee will be communicated in writing.

5. Website Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website.

5.2 Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Axis Construction Trades Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
